鐵匠遺孤

走到上方位於懷特軍刀路（Whitsaber Road）的民宅，遇到鐵匠遺孤史帕克（Spark）。



Spark（史帕克）
　　You see a boy who appears to be a young teen. He is dirty and unkempt. He looks as if he has been crying, but he sits up straight and looks sharp when he sees you.
　　你看到一位外表像是青年的小男孩，身上帶點骯髒雜亂，他看起來像是剛大哭過一場，但是當他看到你時立刻起身站直並眼神銳利的看著你。
　　"Who art thou and what dost thou want?" You realize the boy has a sling in hand.
　　"你是誰而你想要做什麼？"你察覺到那男孩手裡拿著彈弓。
　　You face the boy and tell him who you are.
　　你正視著那男孩並且告訴他你是誰。
Zidane（席丹）
　　"So? What makes thee so special?"
　　"那麼？是什麼讓你這麼特別呢？"

Iolo（悠羅）
　　"Boy, this is the Avatar! Upon my word he is! He has come to help thee!"
　　"孩子，這是聖者啊！在我的字典裡是的！他是來幫助你的！"

Spark（史帕克）
　　Then the boy narrows his eyes, studying you. He slowly lowers his weapon, ready to act in case it's a trap.
　　於是那小孩瞇著眼睛仔細的端詳著你，他慢慢的放下武器，但隨時警戒以防這是個陷阱。
　　You admire the boy's obvious experience in dealing with stranger.
　　你很讚賞這個小孩面對陌生人時的良好應對經驗。
　　You and Spark stare at each other. He is not sure what to do. Finally, he nods his head. "All right. I believe thee. Thou dost look like paintings I have seen. I am sorry, milord,"
　　你和史帕克互相注視著，他不曉得該怎麼做才好。終於，他點著頭。"好吧，我相信你，你看起來就跟我之前看過的畫像一樣，我很抱歉，閣下。"
name（姓名）
　　"I have always been called Spark."
　　"我總是被叫做史帕克。"
job（職業）
　　"I have no job. I am only fourteen, so I am just learning how to best help Father in the smithy," He says, proudly.
　　"我沒有工作，我才十四歲而已，所以我正努力學習如何盡可能的在鍛冶場幫忙父親，"他驕傲的說著。
　　"But then he suddenly realizes something which terrifies him. "And now that Father is dead, I am an orphan!"
　　但他突然想到發生在他身上可怕的事。"而現在父親死了，我是個孤兒了！"
smithy（鍛冶場）
　　"Father was the best blacksmith in Britannia. People were always coming from everywhere to get him to make this and that."
　　"父親是大不列顛最優秀的鐵匠，來自各地的人們會要他製作這或那。"
Father（父親）
　　"Father was the blacksmith. I cannot believe that he has been murdered! He had no enemies that I know of. Unless it was The Fellowship."
　　"父親是個鐵匠，我無法相信他已經被殺害了！就我所知他根本沒有敵人，除非是友誼會。"
Fellowship（友誼會）
　　"Well, at first they harassed Father and me when they came around asking us to join. I suppose they do good things. Many people like them. Father eventually joined the group after he went to Britain and took one of their tests."
　　"好吧，起初他們過來要求我們入會時他們騷擾父親和我，我猜想他們是在做好事，很多人喜歡他們。當父親去到不列顛參加過他們的測驗之後，他最後加入這團體。
tests（測驗）
　　"I do not know anything about them. I never took one. Maybe thou shouldst ask the man at the Fellowship Branch, Klog."
　　"我對他們一點都不瞭解，我從沒參加過，也許你應該問問那位在友誼會分部的男子，柯羅格。"
branch（分部）
　　"The Fellowship has branches all over Britannia."
　　"友誼會在大不列顛各地都有分會。"
Klog（柯羅格）
　　"He is the head of the Fellowship Branch here in Trinsic. He and Father got into an argument a week ago when Klog and two of his friends came over to talk with Father."
　　"他是特林希克城友誼會分部的領導者，一個禮拜之前當柯羅格和他兩個同伴過來這裡與父親談話時曾和父親發生爭執。"
argument（爭執）
　　"I don't know what it was about. Perhaps thou shouldst ask Klog."
　　"我不知道原因是什麼，也許你應該問柯羅格。"
friends（同伴）
　　"I do not remember what they look like. I did not recognize them. They were most likely some other members of The Fellowship."
　　"我不記得他們的長相，我不認識他們，他們就跟其他友誼會的會員差不多。"
orphan（孤兒）
　　"My mother died a long time ago. I can just barely remember her."
　　"我母親很久以前就過世了，我已經幾乎無法記得她了。
murder（命案）
　　"I cannot believe Father is dead. And poor Inamo, too. It is so strange. I -dreamed- it was happening. Well, in a way."
　　"我無法相信父親已經死了，還有可憐的伊納莫也是，這是多麼陌生。我曾經-夢-到它的發生，好吧，在某方面上來說。"
　　"Last night I was having a nightmare about Father. I dreamed that he screamed, and it woke me up. I looked around the house, but he was not in his bed. I was wide awake, so I went out to find him."
　　"昨晚我有個關於父親的噩夢。我夢到他大叫著，然後我被吵醒。我在屋子裡到處尋找，但是他不在床上。我突然清醒起來，然後外出去找他。"
Inamo（伊納莫）
　　"He was a very nice gargoyle. He helped Father a lot and did tasks in the stables. I cannot think why anyone would want to kill him!"
　　"他是位很友好的石像鬼。他幫了父親很大的忙並且在馬廄裡工作著。我想不出為什麼有人會殺死他！"
nightmare（噩夢）
　　"I knew it sounds witless, but... I dreamed that a big red-faced man was watching down on everything and... He looked down... And he noticed Father... That is all I remember."
　　"我知道它聽起來很無稽，但是...我夢到一位有紅色大臉的男子俯視著所有事物，並且...他向下看...然後他注意到父親...這是所有我記得的事。"
find（尋找）
　　"No, I did not find him. At least, not right away. But I did see something."
　　"不，我找不到他。至少，不是立刻找到，但我有看到一些事。"
something（一些事）
　　"I was in front of the stables. I saw a man and wingless gargoyle running from behind the building. They ran toward the dock. Then I went inside and found... Father."
　　"我站在馬廄前面，看到一位男子和一位無翼石像鬼跑過建築物後頭，他們跑進碼頭，然後我走進馬廄並看到...父親。"
　　Spark's voice falters, and he begins to sob a little.
　　史帕克聲音顫抖著，然後開始低聲啜泣。
man（男子）
　　"All I saw of him was that the man had a hook for a right hand."
　　"我所看到的只有他右手是個鉤子。"
gargoyle（石像鬼）
　　"I cannot tell one gargoyle from another. I could not identify him, except that he had no wings."
　　"我無法分辨出每個石像鬼有什麼差別，我無法指認出他，除了他沒有翅膀之外。"
hook（鉤子）
　　"Wilt thou go find the Man with the Hook? Let me help thee!" the boy pleads. His tears cease, and his face takes on a determined, forceful look."
　　"你想找出那位有鉤子的男子嗎？讓我幫助你！"那孩子請求著你，他的眼淚停止，然後臉龐顯現出強烈堅定的表情。"
　　"Take me with thee! Please! I must avenge Father's death! If thou dost not take me with thee, I will follow thee anyway!"
　　"帶我跟你一起走！求求你！我必須為父親的死復仇！假如你不帶我走，我無論如何也會跟著你！"
　　The boy is all excited now. "I am an expert with a slingshot! I can strike sewer rats with almost every shot! And I am small -- I do not eat much!
　　那男孩現在很激動著。"我是彈弓的專家！我可以百發百中的擊中下水道的老鼠！然後我還很小--我吃的不多！"
　　Please take me! Please ask me to join thee!"
　　"請帶我走！請讓我加入你！"

Iolo（悠羅）
　　Iolo whispers to you. "I do not know about taking a child on the road with us, milord."
　　悠羅低聲的對你說著。"我不知道怎麼帶著一位小孩跟我們一起上路，閣下。"

Spark（史帕克）
　　Suddenly, Spark lets his sling fly. His target, a small fly hovering above Iolo's head, is smacked out of the air. You laugh as Iolo yelps, jumps away, curses and runs his fingers through his hair.
　　突然之間，史帕克舉起彈弓瞄準著，一隻盤旋在悠羅頭上的小蒼蠅突然在半空被擊中。在你的嘲笑聲中悠羅大叫著跳開，咒罵並撥弄著他的頭髮。
　　"I told thee I am good! May I join?"
　　"我告訴過你我很厲害的！我可以加入嗎？"
Yes（可以）
　　"Hooray!" the boy leaps with delight.
　　"好耶！"那男孩高興的跳著。
bye（再見）
　　"All right, I will speak with thee later."
　　"好，等會再跟你談。"



走上二樓，使用命案現場發現的鑰匙打開屋裡的箱子，裡面有一枚友誼會勳章、捲軸和金幣。捲軸內容為：

"Thou hast receives payment. Make the delivery tonight."
"你已經收到報酬，今晚把貨品送出去。"
------------------------


詢問史帕克（Spark）箱子裡物品的由來。



Spark（史帕克）
　　"Yes, Zidane?" Spark asks. "What dost thou want?"
　　"是的，席丹？"史帕克問著。"有什麼事嗎？"
gold（金幣）
　　The boy's eyes widen. "I had no idea that Father had that much money hidden away!"
　　那孩子的眼睛瞪大。"我無法想像父親有那麼多金幣可以藏起來！"
　　"I suppose I could give it to thee if thou art going to look for those who killed my Father!"
　　"假如你要去找殺死我父親的兇手，我認為我可以把它送你！"
medallion（勳章）
　　"Father was a member of The Fellowship. I don't know why the medallion was in the chest -- he usually wore it."
　　"父親是友誼會會員，我不知道為什麼勳章會在箱子裡--他總是戴著他。"
scroll（捲軸）
　　"I am not sure if it's the same one, but I think I saw Father with a scroll just like that one or two days ago. I know he was making something special for someone. I am fairly certain it was at his shop."
　　"我不確定是否是同一個，但我認為在一、兩天前有看到父親拿個類似它的捲軸。我知道他有為某人做特殊的事情，我很確定就在他的鐵匠舖裡。"
shop（店鋪）
　　"It's in the southwest corner of the town."
　　"它就在城的西南角落。"
bye（再見）
　　"All right, I will speak with thee later."
　　"好，等會再跟你談。"



往南走到哈羅德走廊盡頭的（Harolds Hallway）鐵匠舖，剛踏上門口守護者突然現身大笑著，這是在嘲弄我們嗎？開門進入裡頭卻發現整間店面已經被破壞殆盡，似乎有人想湮滅什麼似的。
